How does the dual motor dual battery system work?
The rear battery is the main battery, powering the rear motor and controlling the overall system, except for the front motor. The front battery serves as the secondary battery, supplying power to the front motor. You should always keep the rear battery on, and decide whether to activate the front battery and motor as needed. If the rear battery runs out of charge, you will need to switch the secondary battery to the rear to keep the e-bike functioning properly.
Is it legal and donyou need a license for it?
The Ridstar Q20 Pro is a Class 2 e-bike by default, but with its 2000W motor and 37 mph top speed, it may be classified as a Class 3 e-bike or even an electric motorcycle in some areas, requiring special licensing, registration, and insurance. Check local laws to confirm.

Yes, the Ridstar Q20 Pro has water resistance, but it’s not fully waterproof. It's fine for light rain, but avoid heavy downpours or submerging it in water.
How to lock and unlock the speed limit?
- Turn on your e-bike and long press the M button to activate the LCD, bringing up the main display.
- Then, long press both the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons until you enter the settings menu.
- In the settings menu, find P6, the “Speed Limit” or “Speed Setting” option.
- You can then adjust the speed limit, with a minimum of 25km/h and a maximum of 65km/h. Press the left button (I) to confirm and save the setting.
- Exit the settings menu and restart the e-bike. Your speed setting will be saved unless you change it again.
